What this game cannot see
- How real fabric reflects coloured light onto your skin. That reflection is the whole point of draping, and a picture laid over a photo cannot do it.
- True colour. Your phone camera, beauty mode, white balance and screen all shift colours before you even look.
- Your hair, eyes, brows and skin together, in daylight, from a normal distance.
- The difference between neighbouring sub-seasons, like Deep Winter and Deep Autumn. It is subtle, and it is where most self-diagnosis goes wrong.
Drape Duel is a learning game, not a colour analysis. Your season and sub-season are decided in a session with physical drapes, in daylight, by a trained eye.
